Patch Placement Basics

Patience is key when getting to know how to best use your patch. Placement of the patch is EXTREMELY important and is most frequently the cause of an individual not experiencing the relief they seek through Signal.

Step 1:

Identify the location where you feel the most pain. DO NOT use the adhesive to attach your patch just yet.

Step 2:

Start by holding the patch directly over the area of pain.

Step 3:

If you do not experience relief in minutes, move the patch in small increments around the area, waiting a minute before moving again.

Step 4:

Once you have found the spot where the patch gives you relief, secure the patch in place in whatever method is best for you (using included adhesive, athletic tape or wrap, etc.)

Step 5:

Leave patch on overnight for best results. You may try this in multiple areas each night to see what works best. Remember, be patient.

Muscle Knots

Step 1:

Hold patch directly over knot for 3-4 minutes.

Step 2:

Repeat step 1 for as many knots as necessary.

Step 3:

If you feel the pain returning, immediately put the patch back on where it hurts the most and the pain should disappear within 1-2 minutes.

Step 4:

Leave the patch over your most painful knot overnight. Repeat as many nights as necessary for as many knots as necessary.
